Terms of use

Use CartPreflight as a preflight aid, not as a substitute for backups or a controlled Shopify test import.

What the tool does

CartPreflight checks uploaded-in-browser CSV text against a documented set of structural and consistency rules. It does not access your Shopify store, modify store data, or submit imports.

No guaranteed import result

A clear report does not guarantee Shopify will accept a file. Shopify can apply store-specific rules, validate values unavailable to a local checker, or change its importer. Back up relevant store data and test significant changes on a small file first.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the files you select, the corrections you make, the reports you share, and the imports you perform. Do not use the tool with data you are not authorized to process.

Availability

The free checker is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete detection of every possible CSV issue. The ruleset and interface may change to follow current public documentation.

CartPreflight is not affiliated with Shopify Inc. Shopify and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility and the target file format.

Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
